Raymond C. French
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. French has responsibility for day-to-day oversight and supervision of Versa's portfolio operating companies including the content, quality and implementation of business, management and financial planning processes, and the execution of restructuring and value creation initiatives.
He is a member of the firm’s Investment, Portfolio and Management Committees, and is currently a Director of Versa’s portfolio companies Allen-Vanguard, Bell and Howell, Black Angus Steakhouses, Bob’s Stores, Brite-Line Technologies, Holliston, Ohio Community Media, Plymouth Rubber Europa, Polartec, Republic Storage Systems and Simplexity.
A former U.S. Naval Officer, Mr. French received his MSBA from the University of Denver, a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Dubuque, and he is a Certified Public Accountant. He has been a member of Versa and its predecessors since 1994.
